ACTION: First Night, DEC 31st
FSU to do a "Roving Soap Box" to help publicize FSU and Occupy Boston. We will have two orange poster-boards, one advertising FSU, and the other directing people toward OB First Night activities. Instead of a Soap Box lecturer, we will have poets and alternative carolers.

Tasks: firm-up location(s) .. especially where to start and who is contact for meet-ups (ask David for his ph# if you will be late). Z is also confirmed until he marches with the Palestinian contingent of the Parade (5pm or 5:30 starts at Hynes)

FSU, see David from 1-7pm Roving Soap Box. David has the FSU flag and bright orange signs for the soap box. I will update this info: specific location and further description, info will also be pasted to occupy calendar. We have 2 poets confirmed and some to sing alternative carols. Kevin & InfoTent and Jay with Signs will be around, Tinny tens were made. Street is discussing red balloons. Other OB Actions include InfoTent face-painting, a large banner ... bring small rope for the InfoTent.
Noon-1pm InfoTent & Street Team @ Community Church, will hand-out helium balloons and set-up 2 giant banners, Occupy 2012 and a lower one to write on, 'This year I'd like to see ...'
1-5pm InfoTent canvasing around the city, buttons, flyers
1-5pm Community Church Screen Printing for First Night, Community Church 656 Boylston St 02116 The #OB Screen Print Guild will be doing screen printing in coordination with all OB First Night activities. Come join us and have some fun! Please bring donations of materials to print on if you can. Tshirts, sweat shirts, bags, fabric, you name it!
1pm meet FSU David & Z at Community Church, 565 Boylston Street (across from Copley) Soap Box, poets, & caroling.
1pm – 2pm Peace Vigil @ Park Street T Station The Action for Peace Working Group of Occupy Boston is joining this long standing weekly community peace vigil. All are welcome.
3pm – 7pm in Copley Square, Boston, MA The Peace Action Working Group (PAWG) of Occupy Boston will be tabling at Copley Square during the annual First Night New Years Eve event, along with the Stop the Wars Coalition, United National Antiwar Coalition (UNAC), and United for Justice with Peace (UFJP). After the tabling, PAWG will be joining the parade at the end along with Palestine solidarity activists. Bring signs and banners and handouts. The parade begins at the Hynes Convention Center at 5:30pm and marches down Boylston Street. Please join us!

8PM for a serious and fabulous surprise produced and directed by the Women's Caucus. We cannot tell you what it is now, but do come and you will LOVE it. Bring your video camera so you can film it, or so you can film what others say about it. Find us: Copley Square, Boylston St. near the big Christmas tree.

FIRST NIGHT AGAINST THE WARS SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31, 12 (says 3pm on calendar) – 6:00 PM COPLEY SQUARE, CORNER OF DARTMOUTH & BOYLSTON(next to Boston Public Library) We will be distributing peace materials and stickers against U.S. wars and joining the First Night parade at the end as it passes Copley Sq. BRING SIGNS, BANNERS & NOISE MAKERS. We’ll be there rain, shine, or snow. we will make up a FREE PALESTINE contingent at the end of the procession.
